About Me

Hi!  My name is Tim Wood.  I am a financial coach, and completed Financial Coach Master Training (FCMT) in 2020.  FCMT is the formal coach training program offered by Ramsey Solutions. Since 2020 I have coached hundreds of people across the country.  All sessions are done virtually, so it's convenient and private. 

 

My wife and I have followed the Ramsey principles and baby steps since 2009.  We can confirm first hand that these principles work.  We are on baby step 7 and have reached our financial goals following this plan. However, early in our marriage we  made many financial mistakes. If you're struggling with debt, or living paycheck-to-paycheck, I can relate to where you are. 

 

Prior to becoming a financial coach, I was a software developer for 34 years. I retired from the corporate world by choice in 2017.  I studied personal finance for many years, prior to completing the FCMT program.

My wife  and I are semi-retired.  We enjoy helping people and serving in various ministries.  We have  two adult children who are on their own and married.
